St. Kilda Sweater Pattern
Inspired by the Isle of St. Kilda in the outer Hebrides of Scotland, this standard fitting pullover falls to a generous length and provides 5" extra inches around the hips than at the bust, for easy wearing with jeans. The muted colors anchor the sleeve cuffs and hem in stranded traditional designs. Body and set in sleeves are worked in the round to the armholes then worked flat. There is just enough Fair Isle to keep this pullover fun and just enough stockinette for quick knitting.
